Next Saturday, 22 February, around 70 fruit and vegetable retail outlets belonging to Confcommercio Milano and operating in the Metropolitan Area of Milan will promote to consumers the value of local shopping, the professionalism of fruit and vegetable retailers, and the care and attention devoted to customer needs.
As part of the initiative, retailers will offer customers an apple — specifically of the Dolcevita variety, known for its shades of red, crisp texture and very juicy flesh — as a symbol of quality, freshness, and the importance of choosing neighbourhood produce and trusted professionals.
